Dura Software Inc Secures $10 Million Series A Investment to Fund Expansion

San Antonio, TX – Dura Software, the San-Antonio based company specializing in “hyper-niche” software products, has closed on a $10 million round of financing. The round was oversubscribed. It is the largest tech equity raise in the city so far this year. 

This announcement comes on the heels of Dura’s acquisition of Pleasanton, CA-based 6Connex, the leader in massively scalable virtual event software. Dura Software is continuing the momentum it’s been garnering throughout the year. In just 18 months, Dura has gone from $0 in revenue to among the largest software companies in south Texas.

The round was led by Ozone Capital Management (“OZCM”) from Redwood City, CA, alongside other private investors from San Antonio and throughout North America. 60% of the round came from investors outside of San Antonio. 

“The Dura team possesses unique operational capabilities and an extremely successful track record, and we are thrilled that our investment will help Dura grow its footprint in San Antonio for many years to come”, says Matt Morris, Managing Partner of OZCM. Morris will also be joining the Board of Dura Software. The company named four others to its board of directors. The board members are:
